Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Al-Safadi, and Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg engaged in detailed discussions concerning the Gaza Strip's current situation and its dire consequences, along with efforts to halt hostilities and safeguard civilians.

They also emphasized the international community's obligation to fulfill its legal and humanitarian duties by providing sufficient and sustainable aid to all parts of the region.

During a joint press conference, Al-Safadi highlighted that the conflict in Gaza had prolonged, stressing that lasting peace necessitates the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. He firmly opposed the displacement policy against Gazans, emphasizing Gaza's integral role within the Palestinian state.

Schallenberg echoed the importance of pursuing a two-state solution and underscored the imperative of addressing the Palestinians' plight in Gaza, emphasizing the need to not overlook their suffering.
