The Spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) stated that a special operation forces unit conducted a raid yesterday, Wednesday, evening and arrested one of “most wanted fugitives” (whose photos were published and circulated earlier by the PSD) for their involvement in regional drug trafficking gangs and smuggling in the Munshiyya Al-Ghayath area in Al-Ruwaished district, and he was arrested.

The Spokesperson confirmed that the raid came after operational and intelligence efforts, during which the location of the wanted individual (Abdul Karim Suleiman Sghair Al-Ghayath), wanted in 9 cases related to drug importation, trafficking, involvement with international and regional gangs, formation of criminal associations, and firearms discharge, was identified.

He also indicated that investigations and efforts are ongoing to gather information about the remaining wanted individuals and to apprehend them.
