The Petroleum Derivatives Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting today, Thursday, to set the prices of selling oil products in Jordan for the period from March 1st to March 31st.

The committee reviewed the global prices of crude oil and petroleum products during the month of February and compared them with those of the previous month, January.

After applying the pricing equation according to the global prices, it was found that the price of 90-octane gasoline increased by 20 fils/liter, and the price of 95-octane gasoline increased by 20 fils/liter, in addition to a rise in the price of diesel by 20 fils/liter.

Accordingly, the Committee decided to raise the selling price of 90-octane gasoline to 930 fils/liter instead of 910 fils/liter, and to raise the selling price of 95-octane gasoline to 1170 fils/liter instead of 1150 fils/liter, and to raise the price of diesel to 740 fils/liter instead of 720 fils/liter.

The committee also decided to maintain the price of kerosene for the upcoming month of March at 620 fils/liter, and to keep the price of a household gas cylinder (12.5 kg) at seven dinars per cylinder.
