Sunday, the Fruits and Vegetables Central Wholesale Market announced the latest prices of fresh produce.

According to the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), the market received a total of 3,151 tons of fresh produce including 2,332 tons of vegetables, 609 tons of fruits 209 tons of leafy greens.

According to the market's latest price list (per kilogram):

Eggplants: 25 - 40 piasters
Potatoes: 25 - 40 piasters
Watermelon: 35-70 piasters
Garlic: 450 - 500 piasters
Carrots: 30 - 50 piasters
Cucumbers: 35 - 55 piasters
Cauliflower: 8 - 20 piasters
Lemons: 25 - 40 piasters
Bananas: 50 - 85 piasters
