The Yemen’s Houthis announced Monday the targeting of a ship belonging to the Israeli occupation in the Arabian Sea.

The military spokesman for the Houthis, Yahya Saree, said in a statement that an operation was carried out to target an “Israeli” ship named "MSC SKY" in the Arabian Sea using several of the appropriate naval missiles, resulting in accurate and direct hits.

He added that this operation is a victory for the just cause of the Palestinian people and is part of the response to the American and British aggression against Yemen.

Saree pointed out that the operation came just hours after a special operation in which ballistic missiles and drones were launched at several hostile American warships in the Red Sea.

The Houthis affirmed their commitment to preventing "Israeli" navigation or ships heading to the occupied Palestinian ports until the aggression against Gaza is stopped and the siege imposed on the Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted.

They also stated that they would not hesitate to carry out more military operations in the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf against all hostile targets in defense of Yemen and in support of the oppressed Palestinian people.

Furthermore, the Houthis emphasized their capability to target both warships and non-warships simultaneously, stating that their operations are escalating and continuing in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait until the aggression is halted and the siege on the Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted.
