Despite international pressure, Azerbaijan continues to sell oil to the Israeli Occupation, with Tel Aviv importing 523.5 thousand tons of Azerbaijani oil worth USD 300 million last January.

Tel Aviv is the main importer of oil from Azerbaijan, with estimates suggesting that Baku supplies Tel Aviv with approximately 50 percent of its total oil consumption, according to a report reviewed by Roya.

During a security conference held in Munich, Germany, Israeli Occupation President Isaac Herzog met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. They discussed various aspects of cooperation in economic, commercial, cultural, and humanitarian fields, alongside addressing mutual concerns.

Azerbaijan's announcement of the opening of an embassy in "Israel" at the beginning of the year has further strengthened bilateral relations.
