The US Central Command announced that the Houthi faction launched two drones from Yemen towards the Red Sea.

A statement on the Central Command's website said that one of the drones was successfully intercepted and destroyed, while the other crashed into the Red Sea without causing any damage or injuries to nearby ships.

Additionally, the statement mentioned that five drone boats and one drone were destroyed in areas controlled by the Houthis in Yemen.

Since Nov. 19, the Houthis have been targeting commercial vessels in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, suspecting their association with Beijing or heading to their ports, in retaliation for the aggression against Gaza.

In response, British and American forces conducted strikes on Houthi positions.
