In its February report, the Ministry of Social Development highlighted its key services and activities.

The ministry processed 8,233 requests for social studies to grant health insurance to needy families, along with 211 requests for exemption from medical expenses.

Additionally, it handled 70 cases related to heirs' rights settlement and received 1,695 requests for exemption from work permit fees.

The ministry also licensed 10 nurseries and facilitated the placement of 44 children in residential care, while 30 children were discharged from care homes. 

In terms of associations, 15 were registered, with three joining the union. Four associations were notified, and nine temporary administrative bodies were established to manage them, while two temporary bodies concluded their operations.

Furthermore, the ministry conducted 300 campaigns to combat begging, resulting in the arrest of 593 individuals engaged in begging activities.
