The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced Wednesday that 22 soldiers were injured in the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.

An earlier report from the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has disclosed that approximately 60 percent of the IOF’s soldiers were diagnosed with cerebral concussions during the recent aggression on Gaza.

The newspaper noted that routine CT scans revealed evidence of concussion among these soldiers.

Earlier statements from Lucien Lior, the head of the mental health department in the Israeli Occupation army, confirmed that around 1,700 soldiers underwent psychological treatment.

He admitted that this marked the largest mental health crisis faced by the army since 1973, particularly in light of the recent aggression on Gaza.

The IOF disclosed that approximately 30,000 soldiers from its forces have reached out to its mental health hotline since the commencement of the aggression on Gaza in early October last year.

Former Israeli Occupation Chief of Staff Moshe Ya'alon expressed grave concern, labeling the situation as the entity's most perilous crisis to date.
