Syrian state news agency, SANA, stated that in an early Friday attack, civilians and soldiers were killed and injured due to Israeli Occupation aggression in the countryside of Aleppo.

A military source quoted by SANA said that the attack occurred around 01:45 AM, originating from Athriya southeast of Aleppo. It targeted various locations in the Aleppo countryside alongside drone strikes by terrorist groups from Idlib and western Aleppo.

The aim was to harm civilians in Aleppo and its surroundings, the source added.

The assault resulted in casualties among civilians and soldiers and caused damage to public and private property.

Explosions were heard in Aleppo, likely the result of Israeli Occupation strikes, as reported by Roya correspondent.

Syrian anti-aircraft defenses reacted to foreign objects in the skies of Aleppo.

Additionally, armed factions linked to Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham were detected operating in the western Aleppo countryside, likely contributing to the attacks.
