The World Health Organization has issued a warning concerning the healthcare situation in the Gaza Strip, highlighting the restricted operations of hospitals and the consequent deprivation of medical services for thousands of Palestinians.

It noted that only 10 hospitals are functioning at limited capacity in the area.

Additionally, the organization emphasized the urgent need for 9,000 patients to be transported abroad for medical treatment.

Furthermore, it was reported that over 3,400 patients, including 2,198 injured individuals, have been transferred abroad via the Rafah crossing since the onset of the aggression against Gaza.

The World Health Organization urged Israeli Occupation authorities to expedite the approval process for patient evacuations, especially for those in critical condition, to ensure they receive necessary medical care without delay.
