The Petroleum Derivatives Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting today, Sunday, to set the prices of selling oil products in Jordan for the period from April 1st to April 31st.

The committee reviewed the global prices of crude oil and petroleum products during the month of March and compared them with those of the previous month, February.

After applying the pricing equation according to the global prices, it was found that the price of 90-octane gasoline increased by 10 fils/liter, and the price of 95-octane gasoline increased by 5 fils/liter - and a decrease in the price of diesel by 10 fils/liter.

Accordingly, the Committee decided to raise the selling price of 90-octane gasoline to 940 fils/liter instead of 930 fils/liter, and to raise the selling price of 95-octane gasoline to 1175 fils/liter instead of 1170 fils/liter, and to decrease the price of diesel to 730 fils/liter instead of 740 fils/liter.

The committee also decided to maintain the price of kerosene for the upcoming month of March at 620 fils/liter, and to keep the price of a household gas cylinder (12.5 kg) at seven dinars per cylinder.
