The Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army, conducted today, Monday, eight airdrops of humanitarian and food aid targeting several locations in the northern Gaza Strip, with the participation of five partner countries - a statement by the JAF said today.

Participating in the operation was one aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF), one from Egypt, one from the United Arab Emirates, three aircraft from the United States, and one aircraft from the Federal Republic of Germany in addition to one from Britain - according to the statement.

This step comes as part of Jordan's keenness to provide more assistance to Palestinians in the Strip to help them overcome the difficult conditions during the holy month of Ramadan, embodying the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between the two people.

The JAF confirm that they continue to send humanitarian and medical aid through an airlift to deliver them either through aid planes from Marka Airport to El-Arish International Airport, or through airdrops over the Gaza Strip, or through ground aid convoys.

The number of airdrops carried out by the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army, since the start of the “Israeli” aggression on the Strip, has risen to 66 airdrops and 126 jointly with partner countries.
