His Majesty King Abdullah II extended, on Tuesday, his condolences for the tragic loss of members from the World Central Kitchen (WCK) organization in the Gaza Strip on Monday.

Expressing his sympathies on his personal "X" platform account (formerly Twitter), His Majesty stated, "Deepest condolences to José Andrés and the World Central Kitchen over the tragic death of their team members while delivering urgent food aid to Gazans."

He emphasized, "We thank you for your sacrifice and humanity. Humanitarian agencies must be protected in Gaza."

Following the Israeli Occupation raid that targeted its staff, the organization announced an immediate halt to its operations in the Gaza Strip.
