The World Bank, in a new report published Tuesday, indicated that the “Israeli” aggression against the Gaza Strip has caused damage of around USD 18.5 billion to Gaza's critical infrastructure.

This is equivalent to 97 percent of the combined economic output of the West Bank and Gaza in 2022, the Bank said in its interim damage assessment.

Earlier today, The UK has summoned the “Israeli” ambassador after the death of British aid workers in a strike in the Gaza Strip - a statement by the Foreign Ministry said.

The Foreign Ministry wants to deliver the country’s “unequivocal condemnation” of the killing of three British and four other staff of the “World Central Kitchen” charity organization in a missile strike in Gaza.

"I requested a quick and transparent investigation, shared with the international community, and full accountability," junior foreign minister Andrew Mitchell said in a statement issued after the meeting.
