The military wing of Hamas, known as the Al-Qassam Brigades, declared that they had eliminated five Israeli Occupation soldiers at close range, injured several others, and destroyed a military vehicle with a "Tandum" shell in the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Yunis city in southern Gaza.

Previously, they reported killing six soldiers and injuring more in the Al-Zana area, east of Khan Yunis, bringing the total number of Israeli Occupation soldiers killed to 11.

Additionally, they claimed to have targeted four Merkava tanks with "Al-Yassin 105" shells and a guerrilla action device.

Qassam Brigades said that when rescue forces arrived and traversed a prepared minefield, they were hit by the detonation of three anti-personnel devices.
