The Gaza government media office confirmed that Eid al-Fitr in the Gaza Strip was marred by increased atrocities perpetrated by the Israeli Occupation, furthering the genocidal aggression and resulting in a higher toll of casualties.

In a statement, the office reported a devastating massacre on the night before Eid, which claimed the lives of 14 members from a single family.

It highlighted ongoing military aggression by the Israeli Occupation, with warplanes and tanks launching continuous missile strikes since Eid morning, disregarding the sentiments of Muslims and Palestinians. This onslaught dampened the spirit of Eid celebrations, depriving residents, including children and women, of joy.

The media office reiterated condemnation towards the American administration and President Biden for enabling the occupation through weapon supply and tacit approval, as well as the international community's failure to halt the aggression. It held the Israeli Occupation accountable for ongoing crimes against civilians, including acts of genocide targeting vulnerable populations.
