France warned citizens should temporarily leave Iran, after the latter’s airborne attack against the Israeli Occupation Saturday night.

The French embassy in Tehran “recommends to French residents of Iran who can do so to temporarily leave the country,” the embassy said in a statement on its website. "They are asked to exercise the utmost caution in travel" and "to avoid any gatherings", it said - per Agence France-Presse (AFP).

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said earlier Sunday that it notified its “friends and neighbors” of the airborne attack carried out against “Israel” 72 hours in advance.

“About 72 hours prior to our operations, we informed our friends and neighbors in the region that Iran’s response against Israel was certain, legitimate, and irrevocable,” Amir-Abdollahian said at a press conference today, Saturday - cited by The Telegraph.

In a meeting with foreign ambassadors earlier today, Abdollahian said that Iran informed the United States that the attack against “Israeli” will be “limited” and for the purposes of self-defense.
