Public holiday declared to mark International Labour Day

Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh, in an official announcement Monday, declared next Thursday, May 2, to be an official holiday to commemorate the International Labor Day, which falls on May 1st of each year.

Ministries, official departments, public institutions, universities, municipalities, joint service councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and government-owned companies will all be closed due to the holiday.
