Israeli Occupation army radio reported that two Palestinians were injured by Israeli Occupation gunfire near the village of Beit Ainun, northeast of Hebron.

Palestinian sources stated that one of the two individuals was killed, while Israeli Occupation authorities claimed that one of them attempted to attack soldiers with a knife.

Additionally, army radio said that soldiers neutralized two Palestinians after one of them opened fire and the other attempted a stabbing attack at Beit Ainun junction, north of Hebron.

Eyewitnesses, however, disputed the claim that the second individual attempted a stabbing, asserting that he was already detained before the shooting during search operations.

Eyewitnesses claimed that after reinforcements arrived, the soldiers killed the second indiviual as he was being searched without justification.

The occupied West Bank is experiencing heightened tension and clashes between Palestinians and Israeli Occupation Forces, alongside raids and arrests of Palestinians. This comes amidst the aggression on Gaza Strip, resulting in tens of thousands of casualties, mostly children and women.
