Weather warning: Meteorological Department warns of direct sunlight exposure

The weather today will be warm over the mountainous areas and relatively hot to hot in other regions, with some clouds at medium and high altitudes. The winds will be northwesterly, moderate in speed, occasionally becoming active – according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

The Department warned of the risk of direct exposure to sunlight during the noon hours of Sunday in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba regions.

They also cautioned about occasional reduced horizontal visibility due to dust, especially in desert areas.

Weather on Monday and Tuesday will remain warm over the mountainous areas and relatively hot to hot in other regions, with some clouds forming at medium and high altitudes. The winds will be northwesterly, moderate in speed, becoming occasionally active in the afternoon.

On Wednesday, the weather will continue to be warm over the high mountainous areas and relatively hot to hot in other regions. The winds will be northwesterly, moderate in speed, occasionally becoming active.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in eastern Amman today range between 32-21 degrees Celsius, in western Amman between 30-19 degrees Celsius, in the northern highlands between 27-18 degrees Celsius, and in the Sharah highlands between 28-16 degrees Celsius.

In the desert areas, temperatures range from 35-20 degrees Celsius, while in the plains, they range from 32-21 degrees Celsius. In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures range from 37-20 degrees Celsius, and in the southern Jordan Valley, they range from 40-25 degrees Celsius.

At the Dead Sea, temperatures range from 39-24 degrees Celsius, and in the Gulf of Aqaba, they range from 41-24 degrees Celsius.
