The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that it is continuing to monitor the situation of Jordanian doctors and nurses stranded in the Gaza Strip following the “Israeli” army's takeover of the Rafah Border Crossing.

“The healthcare workers volunteered to assist in providing medical care to their Gazan brethren at the European Hospital in Gaza,” the statement said.

The ministry's official spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, affirmed that the ministry is working to secure their evacuation to the Kingdom as soon as possible.
