The internal control unit of the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the Public Security Directorate, on Tuesday detected new violations in the Yarmouk water basin area in Bushra, Irbid. These violations involved illegally supplying water tankers. Field inspection revealed large-scale water theft.

The Water Authority stated in a press release received by "Roya" that, based on information about new violations, their teams moved to the area. After surveying and field inspection, they found large-scale water theft.

The authority confirmed that the violations were removed, and reports were prepared to identify the perpetrators and take appropriate legal actions against them.

The authority emphasized that the coordinated operations of the campaign to impose control, carried out by the Ministry of Water and Irrigation - Water Authority in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, are progressing according to schedule across the Kingdom.

These operations, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, aim to protect citizens' water rights and uphold the authority and sovereignty of the state.
