The National Charter Party held its 59th meeting Tuesday and praised the contents of His Majesty King Abdullah II's speech at the Bahrain Summit.

The Party commended the speech delivered by His Majesty King Abdullah II during the 33rd Arab Summit held in the Bahraini capital, Manama, noting that it reflects the aspirations of the Arab nations and the human conscience.

In a statement issued following its 59th meeting, chaired by Secretary-General of the Party Muhammad Momani, the party stated that His Majesty the King spoke clearly about the unprecedented and painful reality the region is witnessing due to the brutal war on the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The party expressed its support for all Jordanian efforts led by His Majesty to stop the aggression, deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, and reject the forced displacement of its residents.

It also emphasized the points made in the King’s speech, highlighting the moral and humanitarian responsibility that the entire world must bear towards the people of Palestine, especially Gaza, to end the occupation that has persisted for over seven decades.

The party noted that the current destruction in Gaza will have a profoundly negative impact on future generations who have witnessed death, injustice, and devastation.

The party asserted that the devastation in Gaza will not bring stability to the region or the world but will lead to more suffering, violence, and conflict. Therefore, it is crucial to work towards building a future for the children of the united Arab nation that is free from war, death, and destruction, ensuring their human rights to live in dignity, safety, and stability.
