The International Court of Justice (ICJ) said today that it will rule tomorrow, Friday on the request filed by South Africa to order “Israel” to implement a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

“Tomorrow at 3 PM, the court will deliver its Order on the request for the modification & the indication of provisional measures submitted by South Africa on 10 May 2024 in the case SouthAfrica v. Israel,” the ICJ said in a press release.

South Africa petitioned the International Court of Justice for emergency measures to order Israel to "cease its military operations in the Gaza Strip" including in Rafah city, where it is currently conducting a wide-scale offensive, displacing almost a million Gazans in the process.
