Lebanese media reported on Saturday the death of Nahdiya Safieddine, the mother of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.

On X, a correspondent for Hezbollah's "Al-Manar" channel posted pictures of Hassan Nasrallah and his mother, commenting, "To the Secretary-General of Hezbollah… our deepest condolences and sympathy on the passing of their mother, Hajjah Umm Hassan."
