A young man in his twenties drowned on Saturday evening in the waters of King Abdullah Canal in Northen Shuna. 

Dr. Osama Abu Sinna, director of Muath Ben Jabal Hospital, stated that the 21-year-old was rescued by civil defense teams and taken to the emergency department. Attempts to revive him through cardiopulmonary resuscitation were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead.

He also added that the body has been transferred to the Northern Region Forensic Center.
