A security source stated on Monday that a video circulated on social media showing a woman driving recklessly led to legal action being taken against her and the confiscation of her vehicle.

The source also mentioned that the vehicle has been impounded in a designated area for such purposes for a month, and the fine for the violation amounted to JD 200.

Reckless driving is considered one of the most dangerous violations, and penalties have been tightened for it, including the fine and the duration of vehicle impoundment, according to amendments to the traffic law.

The source emphasized that reckless driving is dealt with firmly and without any leniency.
