His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein, met representatives of international companies to discuss economic cooperation – per the Royal Hashemite Court (RHC).

His Majesty stressed that Jordan’s stable business environment and qualified talents strengthens its ability to attract investments.

His Majesty highlighted the success achieved by leading global companies such as Amazon and Cisco in Jordan, emphasizing the importance of capitalizing on available investment opportunities.

He drew attention to youth empowerment plans fostered to keep pace with the labor market requirements by providing new professional and academic educational courses.

Members of the delegation, representing seven global companies, praised Jordan's efforts to attract investment and improve the business environment within the vision of economic modernization.

The economic modernization vision aims to stimulate both local and foreign investment, promote investment opportunities, enhance export competitiveness, and provide job opportunities for Jordanians.

The delegation's visit, organized by the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU), aims to explore investment opportunities in the Kingdom in sectors such as educational technology, training, technology, digital services, energy, defense, and cybersecurity.

The meeting was attended by His Majesty's Office Director, Dr. Jaafar Hassan.
