Brazil recalls ambassador to “Israel” over Gaza war

Brazil has recalled its ambassador to “Israel” and will not immediately appoint a replacement, a diplomatic source told Agence France-Presse (AFP) Wednesday.

"There were no conditions for [Meyer] to return" to “Israel”, the source added.

After Brazil’s President Lula da Silva likened “Israel’s” war on Gaza to the holocaust back in February, he was declared a persona non-grata along with the country’s Ambassador Frederico Meyer; the latter was also summoned for a stern reprimand by “Israeli” Foreign Minister

The Israeli Occupation’s ambassador to Brazil was also expelled at that time by President Lula.
