Formula 1 legend and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has pleaded for “Israeli” aggression on the Gaza Strip to come to an end, as the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continue their assault on Rafah, displacing almost a million Palestinians from the city, and massacring civilians in their tents.

Hamilton, one of the most outspoken athletes in the sporting world on social justice issues, has repeatedly called for an end to the war on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023.

“Enough is enough. We cannot continue to watch this tragedy unfold and not speak up,” the Mercedes driver said on his Instagram stories, to his 37 million followers.

“The trauma and terror so many, but particularly innocent children, are experiencing is horrifying,” Hamilton said, after sharing a video of traumatized children in Rafah, who used to live near the camp where a massacre took place, which claimed the lives of 45 people and injured dozens of others.

“This must stop - for the children, for their families, and for their lives.”
