Jordan will be affected by a gradually intensifying heat wave during the early days of summer, which meteorologically begins on the 1st of June each year. ArabiaWeather’s forecasts suggest that the hot air mass will impact the kingdom for several days, causing temperatures to rise to the end of the thirties Celsius in most areas.

It is expected that the kingdom will begin to feel the effects of the hot air mass next Sunday, resulting in a tangible increase in temperatures to become more than five degrees Celsius above normal, with hot weather prevailing in most areas and moderate southeast winds.

Temperatures will notably increase during the night hours compared to current nights, with generally mild temperatures – according to ArabiaWeather.

The impact of the hot air mass is expected to intensify on Monday, with another rise in temperatures by about 7-9 degrees Celsius above normal for this time of year. The weather will be hot and dry in the majority of the kingdom, with temperatures reaching the end of the thirties Celsius in many Jordanian villages and cities, including the capital Amman, while the weather will be extremely hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, as well as some desert areas where temperatures may exceed 40 degrees Celsius.

Winds will be moderate southeast to east, occasionally becoming dusty in desert areas.
