The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said now that an “Israeli” missile strike killed one girl and wounded 10 other civilians.

The state-run news agency added that the strike targeted a residential building in the coastal city of Baniyas, south of Latakia.

The military source cited by SANA stated that the “Israeli” fighter jets launched their missiles from the direction of Lebanon – causing “some material losses.”

According to the Syrian Observatory For Human Rights (SOHR), the girl was killed in the missile exchange as Syrian air defenses engaged with the “Israeli” missiles.
