The Israeli Occupation has wounded 16 children, ages ranging from four to 14, in one strike on Saturday that hit the southern village of Seddiqine.

According to Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA), this strike was one of several conducted by Israeli Occupation in southern Lebanon on the same day.

The wounded children were taken for treatment in hospitals around the region, a source in the Islamic Health Committee told Agence France-Presse (AFP).

The overnight bombing also severely impacted the town of Bint Jbeil, destroying parts of its historic old market. Local media shared images showing significant damage to the area’s shops, buildings, and homes.

Israeli Occupation has increased its drone strikes on Lebanon since Friday night. In a statement on Saturday, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) confirmed that it had conducted more than 40 airstrikes over the previous 72 hours, targeting what it described as Hezbollah "military targets" in Lebanon.
