Temperatures in the Dead Sea reached a maximum of 50 degrees Celsius Monday.

The heat wave currently affecting Jordan will deepen further on Monday, reaching its peak during the noon and afternoon hours in all of the country – per ArabiaWeather.

ArabiaWeather added that a blast of dry eastern winds will blow, contributing to increasing the intensity of the heatwave, especially in low-lying areas, specifically the northern and central Jordan Valley regions, where temperatures are expected to reach the 50-degree Celsius mark.
