The recently discovered wall extends from Khirbat al-Daouk in Ras al-Naqab through Khirbet al Mureigha.

The Great Wall of Jordan, also known as Shubayb Line or the Jordanian Great Wall, is a stone structure that many citizens are unaware of, similar in name to the Great Wall of China.

Shubayb Line or the Great Wall of Jordan stretches from the Al-Hasa area in Tafila Governorate to the far south of Ma'an Governorate, specifically in the Naqab region, spanning approximately 150 kilometers.

Preliminary studies indicate that the discovered wall extends from Khirbat al-Daouk in Ras al-Naqab through Khirbat al-Mariqah to Wadi Al-Hasa in the north.

The significance of the Great Wall of Jordan has prompted archaeologists and academics to launch awareness and educational campaigns to promote the wall, locally known as "Shubayb Line," aiming to integrate it into the local tourism trail system, develop the area, and increase its income.

According to information provided by archaeological experts, it is believed that the wall was built as a boundary for land ownership or as a border line for an ancient civilization that inhabited the region.

Although archaeological studies have not yet precisely determined the wall's age, they suggest it dates back to the Iron Age or Nabataean period based on available evidence.

Academics affirm that Shubayb Line could become a significant tourist attraction, located within Jordan's golden tourism triangle and passing through numerous archaeological sites and diverse environmental regions in the south.

Tour guides highlight that the discovery of the Great Wall opens new horizons in tourism, adding a unique treasure to Jordan's rich heritage, and emphasize the need to disseminate information about the wall.
