The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said Thursday that a soldier was killed on the northern border in a cross-border attack by Lebanese group Hezbollah.

The soldier was killed on Wednesday after two explosive drones were launched by Hezbollah from south Lebanon on the settlement of Hurfeish in northern “Israeli” – according to the IOF’s statement.

He is identified as Staff Sergeant (reserve) Refael Kauders, 39 years old, of the Alon Brigade’s 5030th battalion.

Nine soldiers were wounded in the attack, with one of them seriously wounded and the others lightly injured.
