Gold prices in Jordan remained stable for the fourth consecutive day, according to the Jewelers Syndicate.

As of Tuesday's pricing, the selling price for 21-karat gold from jewelry shops stayed at JD 46.50 per gram, with the buying price at JD 44.50.

The selling price for 24-karat gold remained at JD 54 per gram, and the buying price at JD 51.60. The selling and buying prices for 18-karat gold were stable at JD 41.50 and JD 38 per gram, respectively.

Additionally, the price for the Rashadi gold lira in the local market was JD 326, and the English gold lira was JD 372.

Globally, gold prices fell on Tuesday as investors awaited key US inflation data and the results of the Federal Reserve meeting for details on interest rate plans.

By 03:17 GMT, spot gold dropped 0.3% to USD 2,302.89 per ounce. US gold futures also fell 0.3% to USD 2,320.20 per ounce.

Investors are anticipating the Consumer Price Index report for May, set to be released on Wednesday, along with the outcomes of the Federal Reserve meeting.

Among other precious metals, spot silver declined 1.9% to USD 29.22 per ounce, platinum fell 0.6% to USD 962.20, and palladium decreased 1.1% to USD 893.60.
