His Majesty King Abdullah II emphasized today the importance of implementing the outcomes of the Emergency Humanitarian Response Conference in Gaza to unify and enhance humanitarian efforts to the necessary level.

During his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on the sidelines of the conference at the Dead Sea on Tuesday, King Abdullah stressed the need to address obstacles to the adequate and urgent delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip.

In the presence of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the King highlighted the importance of providing a sufficient number of trucks to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, ensuring adequate stocks of relief supplies.

King Abdullah praised Egypt's central role and its significant, tireless efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement and seek a political horizon to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, Director of the King’s Office Dr. Jaafar Hassan, and General Intelligence Department Director Major General Ahmad Husni also attended the meeting.
