The opposition leader in the Israeli Occupation, Yair Lapid, once again criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Lapid stated on Tuesday that Netanyahu's government is irrational, embroiled in internal disputes, ineffective, and neglectful of both the southern and northern regions.

Lapid emphasized the need to overthrow Netanyahu's government, expressing his belief that it is feasible to remove Netanyahu from power. He mentioned that since Gantz's resignation, the necessary means to take action against the government are available.

The Hebrew Broadcasting Authority reported that Prime Minister Netanyahu informed ministers about the cancellation of the war council meeting after Ben Gvir requested to join it.

Hebrew media revealed that Netanyahu plans to establish a smaller political council comprising the defense and strategic affairs ministers and the head of the National Security Council.

The War Council, described as a "sham council," is responsible for political decisions during wartime. It was formed following the Gaza war triggered by Hamas' Operation Aqsa Typhoon and includes Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Galant, and former Chief of Staff Benny Gantz. It also included, as observers, former Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot and Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer.
