A Syrian military source reported on Wednesday the death of an officer following an attack by Israeli Occupation drones on two sites located in the countryside of Quneitra and Daraa.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted the military source, stating that the Israeli Occupation launched an air raid using drones, targeting two military positions of the Syrian armed forces, which led to the death of an officer and caused some material damage.

On the third of this month, a similar raid in northern Syria resulted in the death of 16 members of Iran-backed groups. The Iranian Tasnim News Agency later confirmed that an advisor from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard was among those killed.
