The Israeli Occupation Forces committed a horrific new massacre in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, leading to the deaths of 25 people and injuring over 50 others. Palestinian sources reported this on Friday.

The medical sources confirmed that the massacre resulted from Israeli Occupation forces' shelling on tents sheltering displaced individuals west of Rafah city. Gaza health officials later verified the toll, stating 25 people were killed and 50 injured in the attack on the displaced persons' tents in Muwasi Rafah.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the total death toll reached 37,431, with 85,653 injured since October 7.

The death toll among Israeli Occupation forces rose to 662 since October 7, including 310 since the ground operation began on October 27. According to the Israeli Occupation army, 3,866 soldiers were injured since the assault on Gaza began, with 582 critically wounded, 990 moderately injured, and 2,294 sustaining minor injuries.

Hamas' military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 in response to Israeli Occupation violations in the Palestinian territories.

In retaliation, the Israeli Occupation initiated a military operation against Gaza named "Iron Swords," conducting a series of intense airstrikes across the strip. These attacks resulted in hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries, and significant destruction of buildings, residential towers, institutions, and infrastructure.
