On the 260th day, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continue their brutal aggression in the Gaza Strip, bombarding various areas and resulting in the deaths of more than 75 Palestinians in targeted strikes.

The IOF also bombed the tents of displaced persons west of Rafah and demolished several buildings in and around the city of Rafah in the southern part of the Strip.

According to a preliminary report, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll has reached 37,431, with 85,653 injured since the aggression began on October 7.

Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas' political bureau, stated that the movement is open to any proposal or initiative that supports the resistance's stance in ceasefire negotiations. Haniyeh emphasized that Hamas prioritizes “ending the criminal war against the Palestinian people” and considers the common interests with the “axis of resistance”.

He added out that Hamas has specific demands, including a permanent ceasefire, complete withdrawal, reconstruction, prisoner exchange, humanitarian relief for the Palestinian people, and addressing all aspects of the blockade. He confirmed that the movement is negotiating based on these principles.

On the other hand, Hebrew Channel 14 quoted “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying that the IOF will not leave the Gaza Strip “until all hostages are returned”.

In contrast, a poll by the same channel indicated that 51 percent of “Israelis” believe that achieving a complete victory against Hamas is impossible.
