The office attributed these incidents to the prolonged closure of the Rafah Border Crossing by the Israeli Occupation, claiming that this blockade is part of a deliberate effort to annihilate any means of life in the region.
While the specific causes of the poisoning have yet to be identified, the Government Media Office emphasized the severe impact of the ongoing blockade and aggression on the northern part of Gaza.
