A new humanitarian aid convoy for residents in northern Gaza has been dispatched by the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO). .

The convoy was sent in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP) and supported by various organizations and companies, including “BIOS”, Islamic Relief Worldwide, Kuwait Relief Society, Imdad Association, Taalof Al-Khair, Arab Medical Relief Association, and others.

The convoy, consisting of 70 trucks, carried essential food parcels, consumables, medical supplies, and medications. These will be distributed to residents in Gaza, particularly in the northern areas of the strip, through partner organizations and associations.

Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of the JHCO, stated that the current situation in Gaza could escalate into a humanitarian disaster, with all reports indicating that the region is nearing famine.

Shibli added that Jordan's efforts to provide humanitarian aid continue in an attempt to alleviate and halt this tragic situation.

Shibli also noted that the total number of land trucks that have entered Gaza to date is 2,110, along with 53 planes through Al-Arish.
