German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and US Ambassador to Tel Aviv Jacob Lew called for the Palestinian Authority to play a major role in Gaza after the war ends.

The US Ambassador stated, "The Palestinian Authority must be part of the day after the Gaza war."

He reiterated the US's support for a two-state solution, ensuring the security of Palestinians in both the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
