The economic expert Mohammed Al-Bashir stated that addressing Jordan's unemployment and high debt is essential to resolving the refugee crisis.

Speaking on Roya TV's "Akhbar Al-Sa'a," Al-Bashir emphasized that the international community has provided Jordan with only a fraction of the agreed-upon support.

He highlighted the need for the Arab League to prioritize the refugee crisis and seek solutions. Al-Bashir suggested that a feedback loop could be beneficial, where refugees contribute economically, enhancing the national economy.

He noted that refugees possess valuable technical, agricultural, and other skills that can be harnessed for mutual benefit.

It is noteworthy that Jordan hosts over 3 million refugees from more than 40 countries, constituting about one-third of its population, according to the UNHCR.
