Martin Griffiths, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, voiced alarms on Wednesday regarding a potential spillover of the aggression against the Gaza Strip over to Lebanon, warning that it is “potentially apocalyptic.”

"I see it as the flashpoint... It's potentially apocalyptic," Griffiths said, whose term finishes at the end of the month, told reporters in Geneva.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health r that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) committed four massacres in the Gaza Strip, leaving 60 martyrs and 140 injured during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry warned that there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and that the IOF prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.

It announced that the total death toll of the “Israeli” aggression had risen to 37,718 martyrs and 86,377 injuries since Oct. 7, 2023.
