Yemen’s Houthis said Wednesday they targeted a ship at the Haifa port, which is controlled by “Israeli” forces, in collaboration with the "Islamic Resistance in Iraq."

Yahya Sare’e, the military spokesperson for the Houthis, said the operation targeted the "MSC Manzanillo" vessel at Haifa port.

This attack marks the second by the Houthis in three days. On Monday, the Houthis said a joint military operation with the "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" targeted four ships at the “Israeli” port of Haifa.

In a related development, Sare’e added they attacked the "Shorthorn Express" vessel in the Mediterranean Sea using drones.

"The first operation targeted four ships at Haifa port, including two cement carriers and two general cargo ships, belonging to companies that violated the ban on entering ports in occupied Palestine, using a number of drones,” the statement said.

"The other operation targeted the 'Shorthorn Express' in the Mediterranean Sea on its way to Haifa port, also using several drones,” it added.
