The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced today, Tuesday the deaths of two soldiers killed on Monday night during the still-ongoing battles with Palestinian resistance in central Gaza

The two soldiers are identified as Master Sergeant (reserve) Nadav Elchanan Knoller, 30 years old, a platoon sergeant in the 8th Reserve Armored Brigade’s 121st Battalion; and Major (reserve) Eyal Avnion, 25 years old, a deputy company commander in the 8th Reserve Armored Brigade’s 121st Battalion.

Their deaths bring the toll of slain “Israeli” soldiers since the beginning of the ground invasion of Gaza to 322, and to 674 since Oct. 7, 2023.

Another soldier was “seriously wounded” in the same incident, which is currently being investigated by the IOF.
